Switching gears with Direction-PAD

When setting thumb up button and thumb down button to change gears it does not work correctly. Gears are getting back to the previous state when button is released. Setting buttons to change gears works perfectly.

Have you made sure to deactivate the automatic gears using G. When you disable automatic gear in the gameplay options you'll still be able to activate automatic gear using the G(default) key.

Yes have done it, as I use other buttons to change gears finaly. Going to test this further to see what goes on.
