I´m no dutch too.
I´m german. -
I'm danish, but a lot of dutch words are kinda similar to danish and I know some German too and with that knowledge I can make sense of dutch, so much I can actually read the paper, haha.

I know it's Dutch, I am Dutch. But I refuse to reply to him in Dutch, since I hate it when people go off in their own language in threads that are supposed to be in German or English. (So in these forums all but the threads about creating a forum in a specific language).
btw I thought Danish was a type of pastry, rather than a language -
It may still be possible that some of the persons in this forum don´t speak english or german. As long as we can understand I think it´s okay.

@ShadowWolf I disagree. It's a forum in German and/or English, so it's the responsibility of the poster to make it understandable for the other people visiting these forums. Since there is an easy way to translate complete messages, using Google Translate or similar, that shouldn't be too much to ask.
Same goes for using some form of interpunction, Capitalisation and to give a basic attention to grammar.
It's okay if people make mistakes, but if a post shows a total lack of effort, I'm done with it pretty fast. Simply put: Why should hundreds of readers put more effort into understanding a post, than the poster put into making it understandable? -
That's a bit harsh @Wild Chocolate.
But I think we have answered the guys question, so why don't we just let this thread die out, and if you really want to discuss what language you are allowed to use in your own thread and in what part of the forum or if using google translator over trying to write in english yourself is better, then a new thread might be an ideaThe post was edited 1 time, last by Jeytav ().
