Screen all grey

  • I'm not using afterburner either, yet all I've seen so far is Grey Screen Simulator which isn't as much fun as you'd think! Done fresh install of graphics, fully updated, updated other drivers, tried altering graphics settings in game for different resolutions then going back to mine, nothing makes any difference, still stuck on grey screen with a mini map in the bottom corner. Using Nvidia graphics, a Geforce GTX1070 8GB card.
  • It's that's a weird one.

    Have you tried deleting the cattle and crops folder in documents/my games? that contains all the config file for the graphics. before you do try and look in the C4Log.html if you haven't done that already, possibly attach it to a post here and the Debug.log as well.

    i have a "similar" problem.. except my screen isnt all grey.. only like 40% of it :D

    the attached screenshot is how it looks, even after doing following: Reinstall - different GFX settings, all from lowest, to highest - deleting game folder in my documents.

    my computer has the following hardware:
    mortherboard: MSI 970 GAMING
    CPU: AMD FX-6300 Black CPU - 3.5 GHz
    GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

  • Tried deleting it, tried uninstalling and redownloading, left an update for my nvidea, didn't work, updated, still didn't work. I'll try removing anything to do with C&C next and starting fresh again and see if that makes any difference. At this point I've kind of given it up as a loss and will wait for the game to be updated. There are enough other people seeming to get issues like this that they'll patch it eventually.
