-
Try this:
Device (name = "Saitek Heavy Eqpt. Wheel & Pedal", type = 'JSTK')
{
Control (name = "Z Rotation", deadzone = 16383)
{ }
Control (name = "Y Rotation", deadzone = 16383)
{ }
Control (name = "X Rotation", deadzone = 16383)
{ }
Control (name = "Z Axis", deadzone = 16383)
{ }
Control (name = "Y Axis", invertValue = true, deadzone = 16383)
{
Action {unsigned_int32 {'frwd'}}
}
Control (name = "X Axis", invertValue = true, deadzone = 6553, controlkind = "Wheel")
{
Action {unsigned_int32 {'left'}}
}
Invert Y axis in the input file in your Documents folder -
This is what I did.
Copied and pasted exsisting cfg in my documents to a safe place.
Deleted the contents of cfg file in my documents
Copied and pasted above command lines into cfg file in my documents.
Started launcher, entered game, controls, calibrate Logitech G29 axis, saved and then exit.
Continue game, peddle axis all function correctly.
Movement
Forward ------ Accelerator peddle
Backward ---- Brake peddle
Clutch axsis calibrated but does not seem to have a function in the tech demo.
Thank you -
Hi @Racn
I recently decided to give CnC another try after a few months. I have the logitech G27 and tried your steps above, but can't get the settings to save. I've always had pretty good luck getting my G27 to work with FS15 and FS17. But really not sure what I'm missing here? Any additional tips you can share?

yeah, the G27 isnt good integrated in the game.
There are some problems and they have to fix this.
I am waiting for so long to get my G27 work well, its boreing.Lenkrad und CaC - Geht halt nicht bei jedem.

I use the g27 and i could make it into an ok setup? Sure i can't change gears more then move stick Up increase and down decrease but i think that's okay for how long in development the game is.
The only save problem i have is with the actionbars, everything get's shifted one step to the left when i load a game.
Is it any specific that you can't get to work? Have you tried to do it the normal ingame way(not messing with any documents)? That's how i got it to work (Y) -
If someone has a working setup with the G27 He could upload the input.cfg for others to try.

All i did was to callibrate all the axis's (steeringwheel as steering axis, gas and break as throttle axis)
Then i asigned left to the steering axis, forward to the break axis and gas axis to the backward (might work with steering being on right too and forward/backward is being inverted for some reason and that's why gas is break and vice versa).
Then i just put increase gear when pushed in to third gear and decrease gear when pushed in to fourth gear on g27.
All of this i did in the ingame controlls menu. -
I made some progress on getting the G27 to work. For me I had to use the Logitech profiler as without it, CnC seems to want to use combined pedals.
While it's not perfect, the one issue I seem to really have is the force feedback on the G27 wheel is very tight. Has anyone managed to lessen the amount of FFB on the wheel?Happy Simming!!!

Either disable FFB in the profiler, disconnect the power adapter or refer to this as it should also work with the G27: G29/G920 disable Force Feedback? [How to]
-
You can also in the profiler set the Force feedback for the specific game
-
FFB in the profiler is off. I had already tried that and it makes no difference. I'll try the power adapter and see if that will work.
I truly like the progress I've seen since last spring and hope CnC continues to enhance controller support. It truly should be considered a must-have for simulation based games.Happy Simming!!!

Hi, the combined pedals annoy me. (Using Thrustmaster T150) For CnC I need to change to combined pedals. I hope it will change in the future.
